Hey all!
Hope you’re all having a great week so far. As usual, the Monthly Beat will be coming out on the first Monday of the month, April 7th. However, I wanted to give a quick time-sensitive plug from my friends over at PyData Pittsburgh for an opportunity to get involved with the local tech community.
PyCon, the annual Python Programming Language Conference, is going to be right here in Pittsburgh May 14-22, and they are looking for Pittsburgh tech folks to submit proposals for standard 30-minute talks and 5-minute lightning talks. This is a great opportunity for you to not only share your knowledge with other locals, but also many visitors from elsewhere in the US and internationally who are flying into our city for the first time. For more details, check out PyData Pittsburgh’s post below. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, April 6th, so don’t sleep on this!
I’ll see you Monday for the Monthly Beat, but let me know in the comments if your proposal is accepted; I’ll do my best to attend your talk! Thanks, and have a great day.
